Eggstra dimension to Noble Foods business cards

dimensional ink business cardsTo reinforce the Happy Egg Co. branding, the client asked that each colleague’s card should have a personalised hen character. Our artist created these using The Happy Egg Co. brand guidelines, adding details such as designer handbags, pearls and sunglasses, based on photos of, and information about, the individuals.

Company executives thus take part in the “happy family of brands” theme which is central to Noble Food’s proposition.

We printed dimensional ink over the characters to add a tactile quality to the cards and, in a further allusion to “Happy Families”, the cards were finished with user-friendly round corners, also making a point of difference from the average business card.

National Trust web-to-print launches

web to print serviceSuperior recently launched a dedicated web-to-print service for National Trust. The new service provides National Trust the facility to design and order quality, property-specific social stationery online. Crucially, our offer of print quantities from as low as 100 has enabled National Trust properties to produce seasonal social stationery, showcasing their beautiful imagery, as well as Christmas cards and calendars.

Superior was on hand to help with training, from Northumbria to Belfast, Llandudno to Bury St Edmunds. We travelled the length and breadth of the country teaching key National Trust employees how to use the new online web-to-print service. Training included image selection and uploading, text editing and colour specification, all created with an online template, thus ensuring adherence to brand guidelines.

By using the online web-to-print service, National Trust benefits from the best possible print prices for short-run products with limited shelf life, leading to healthy margins for National Trust retailers.

St Paul’s Sings Superior’s Praises

St Pauls Cathedral
St Paul’s Cathedral came to Superior to develop a range of giftware to support their recent exhibition held in the Crypt. In the first exhibition of its kind at St Paul’s, 64 artists produced original works especially for the exhibition, to celebrate the 300th anniversary of Wren’s great enterprise. The exhibition presents a broad and eclectic range of interpretations of the Cathedral’s place in the life and rapidly changing topography of London. The range includes a postcard wallet with 12 images selected from the exhibition, together with two notecard packs with work from Melissa Scott-Miller and Peter Welton.

We came across Promote Your Museum at the Association of Cultural Enterprises Annual Convention in 2010 and were rather pleased we did. St Paul’s Cathedral recently had a major exhibition and Promote Your Museum were able to fulfil all of our product needs in a timely and cost-effective fashion. Everyone agrees that the finished products were superb, not just in quality but also in design, and we are extremely grateful for the quick turn-around Promote Your Museum were able to achieve. The efficiency and professionalism of the staff made it a very simple procedure from conception and design through to delivery and payment. We would have no hesitation in using Promote Your Museum for other product needs in the future and we look forward to working with them again.

New website for Whippet Couriers

Whippet Couriers Web Site

The Whippet Couriers website was built to a bespoke design exactly meeting the client’s requirements. The site includes on-site Search Engine Optimisation to improve the site’s ranking for key phrases, such as Wiltshire couriers where the site currently appears at the top of page one on Google.

Our client wanted to expand his site to include a fully integrated news feed featuring unlimited posts, categorisation and much more. Built around a pure CSS framework we developed the site using HTML and PHP along with MySQL database technologies. The website encompasses a content management system which allows the client to make changes quickly and easily online.

Managing Director Kevin Killeen commented:
“We’ve seen a large increase in traffic since launching the new website. The business has really benefited from having a professional website which I can manage and maintain using a simple, user-friendly interface.”

Superior creates big picture for top cider brands

Heineken UK briefed Superior to come up with a visual theme, supporting POS and press advertising, to feature their Cider Festival product marketing initiative. The theme would create a common platform for their cider brands (Strongbow, Bulmers and Jacques) throughout the impulse, wholesale and grocery sectors.

From the ‘apple tree landscape’ core creative (no pun intended) through artworking, print, finishing and delivery we created, produced and managed the entire project. 8,000 retail kits were supplied to the whole of the off-trade sector, including pallet wraps and 3-shelf FSUs which were produced for Sainsbury’s.

Illuminations online shop now open for business

Illuminations Web SiteWe were recently approached by Alison Merry of ILLUMINATIONS to redesign her existing website. Having previously worked with Alison on print projects, we had a good understanding of her expectations. Inspired originally and specifically by the richness and vibrancy of medieval art, Alison has developed a painting style of her own that puts a medieval ‘spin’ on her subjects for the purpose of storytelling and illustration. Her paintings are unashamed pastiches that draw on historic styles but with the added ‘twist’ of her own invention that makes the images original and contemporary.

We worked closely with Alison and provided her with a new website which includes a fully integrated news feed, a portfolio of recent commissions and an online shop where Alison can sell greetings cards of her artwork. Alison also has the benefit of being able to manage her website using a content management system which allows her to make changes quickly and easily online.
